How does all this work? What’s the process?
Step 1. Contact me through the Booking App through the website, Phone call, Text Message, Email, or Smoke Signal. (No longer excepting carrier pigeons. We are sorry for this inconvenience.)
Step 2. We set a time and date.
Step 3. I arrive at the set time and date.
Once I am at the property:
How long does it all take?
A lot of factors that go into that question. The most important thing you can do to cut down on location time is to make sure everything is clean and ready to go. It’s best if the owners are gone and all pets and small children are locked up, but we understand that life can’t always stop for us so we are happy to work with you and your schedule.
Our style of photographing is a little different than others. We blend several photos together using flash and ambient light so it can take a little longer than a typical photographer using what’s called a HDR process. Most homes take anywhere from 1 to 2 1/2 hours. We work as efficiently as possible but our job is to get the details right the first time so your listing looks the best online!
Matterport 3D Tours:
In our experience, it typically takes one hour per 1000 sq. ft. to capture all the information required to build a 3D Virtual Tour.
It typically takes about 45 minutes per 1000 sq. ft. to capture everything needed for a video.
Does someone need to be there to unlock the door?
Yes! We do not have access to Supra keys. If a lock-box is provided, we can gain access that way. Home owners can leave a key in a hidden location or the realtor/owner can be there to let us in.
Do you or someone else need to be there the entire time?
No. We understand that life is busy. We do not require the realtor/owner be present for the job. In fact, we typically can get the job done quicker if no one is there. We do request that clear instructions on how to lock up the property are given if no one is present.
How long does it take to get the final product back?
We know that every hour your listing is not on the market is an hour that you could lose a potential buyer. We work as fast as we can once we have captured everything we need on location. Our style of photography requires a lot of work on the back side of editing. We know we will never be as fast as an HDR shooter, but we believe quality should come first.
Our goal is to have everything delivered within 24 hours of our appointment. Some times we crush that goal and some times life and other business gets in the way. One promise we will make is that we will keep communication open at all times.
Matterport 3D Tours:
It’s a good bet we will have the final product delivered in less than 24 hours if not a lot sooner!
Video is where we get creative! We want the video we provide to absolutely rock it online! Sure, we could probably throw something together in an afternoon but video is something we put our name behind and most importantly your name and business is reflected. If turnaround time is important, a Matterport 3D Tour may be best but, if you have 2 or 3 days to let us get creative, we promise to deliver something that will “WOW” your clients and bring in future business for you.
How do I receive my content?
Once we have everything completed we deliver via Dropbox and email.
When and how do I pay?
We except all forms of payment: Cash, Check, Credit Card (AMEX, DISCOVER, VISA, MASTERCARD), Gold, Silver, Bitcoin.
Once we are done with the final product we will send you a QuickBooks invoice that can be paid directly online with a Credit Card.
You’re more than welcome to pay us with cash or check on location.
Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples out there so if it is your first time using us we will deliver proofs with a watermark. Once payment has been made we will deliver the final product.
Once we have the first time out of the way and we are looking at a long happy business relationship together, there’s no need for the watermark. We will send the invoice and the final product at the same time.
Payment is due on delivery.
If sending a check works better for you just let us know so we don’t bug you every day with reminder emails.
Rights to the photos:
What you are buying from us is limited usage rights.
What does all that mean?
That means Inside The Address retains rights to the photos.
But wait, didn’t I pay for them? Can I even use them? Of course, you can!
What that means is you have the right to use them for all the marketing needs of that property: MLS, Print, Social Media, and your website.
Here is what you can’t do:
1. Sell them to someone else.
2. Give them to someone else.
You paid for them they are for you to use.
If someone else would like to pay for them we will gladly sell the limited rights to them.
What if I want to buy the full rights and sell them myself?
We have bills to pay just like everyone else, we would be happy to sit down and discuss the sale of the full rights.
